LEGAL COMPLIANCE (please click here for pdf format)

1. All those present are reminded of the need to remain within the strict confines of applicable competition law at all times, in order to enable the group to achieve its aims and objectives, without giving the appearance of facilitating unlawful conduct.
2. For this reason it is important that the group agree, as soon as practicable, a set of clear lawful objectives, a formal structure (within another established association if possible) and adhere to all legal requirements.
3. In order to ensure such compliance is achieved the following ground rules should be observed:
   • A written agenda will be circulated in advance of each meeting so that they are available for legal review, if required.
   • Written minutes will be taken of each meeting.
   • Discussions will be restricted at all times to agenda items.
   • No discussions will take place on competitively sensitive issues such as prices paid for raw material or products, product launches, future competitive strategy, no joint approval / dispproval of suppliers or customers, no exhange of competitive intelligence except in strict compliance with applicable laws.
